Wrongful death: Charges filed in crash that killed cyclist

It is no secret that individuals who travel via bicycle do not have the same level of protective barriers afforded to those who ride in a motor vehicle. As such, what appears to be a healthy alternative form of travel can be somewhat hazardous at times and cyclists run greater risk of suffering serious or fatal harm should a collision occur. According to reports, a driver is facing multiple charges following a recent collision that led to the apparent wrongful death of a 37-year-old cyclist in West Virginia.

1 killed, 1 injured in car accident during high speed pursuit

Attempting to evade a routine traffic stop is never advisable and such a decision may only lead to a subsequent high speed pursuit that places everyone involved in harm's way. While passengers who travel with a driver who exhibits such behavior may have little control over the situation, their well-being may still be placed at risk. One person died and another was airlifted to a hospital after a recent pursuit-related car accident in West Virginia.

Wrongful death: Crash claims lives of woman and her unborn child

Drunk driving continues to be one of the leading causes of major collisions and the fallout of such incidents can have a devastating impact on the lives of everyone involved. Motor vehicle accidents involving impaired drivers have a higher chance of leaving those nearby with life-altering injuries or forcing surviving family members to mourn the unexpected loss of someone dear. A recent crash involving a suspected drunk driver has injured three people and led to the apparent wrongful death of a mother and her unborn child in West Virginia.

Motor vehicle accidents: Early morning crash kills 1, injures 2

While most individuals may give little thought to the dangers they might face as they driver to and from their destinations, a collision can unfortunately take place at any given moment. Dealing with the fallout of even a minor crash can be stressful enough as is, and motor vehicle accidents that prove more severe in nature could have catastrophic consequences. One person died and two others were airlifted to a medical facility following a collision that occurred in West Virginia.
