Drug Litigation
 

Cindy L. Quillen has been with the law firm since August 2002. She is a paralegal for R. Edison Hill and James W. Hill. Cindy is a 1990 graduate of West Virginia Junior College and has been working in the legal field since then. Previously, Cindy was a paralegal for the West Virginia Division of Corrections. One of her duties while employed there included instructing "Legal Issues" to Correctional Officers at the West Virginia Corrections Academy and at various state prison facilities. In addition, Cindy worked directly with the Governor's Office, West Virginia Parole Board, and the West Virginia Education and State Employee Grievance Board on various issues.

Cindy's main areas of paralegal practice presently consist of personal injury, medical malpractice, chemical exposure in the workplace and a statewide class action lawsuit involving illegal dumping of chemicals.

Cindy is from Jackson County and has a daughter. Both are active in 4-H, FFA (Future Farmers of America/Ripley Chapter), Jackson County Horse Club and the Jackson County Junior Fair. Cindy is the Conservation Leader of the RockCastle Mingo's 4-H club, livestock volunteer at the Junior Fair, and is a member of the Kenna Grange Local #516. In Cindy's spare time, she enjoys working on the farm with her grandfather, helping her daughter raise both sheep and cattle, gardening, quilting and spending lots of time outdoors.
