Morgantown, West Virginia, is mourning the loss of a local fireman after a fatal accident claimed his life. The man was involved in a collision on Route 119, and police have determine that his vehicle was struck by a Ford F-350. Based on the details known at this time about the accident, it is possible the family has grounds to pursue compensation through a wrongful death claim.
When West Virginia law enforcement arrived on the scene of the accident, they found the sedan driven by the deceased terribly mangled from the impact. Accident reconstructionists were called in to determine what happened between the smaller sedan and large truck. They determined that the driver of the truck was turning left off U.S. 119 when he hit the car.
Despite emergency medical intervention, the fireman was declared dead at a local hospital.
